Shipping & Returns
How long orders take, how we pack them, and what to do if a piece arrives less than perfect.
Every order is made, tuned, and packed in three to five business days. You will receive a tracking number within seven days of placing your order — if we need a little longer to get a piece right, we will tell you before the parcel leaves.
We ship worldwide with tracked couriers. Typical transit times, once the parcel is on its way:
Any import duties, VAT, or customs fees charged by the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility and are paid directly to the local carrier on delivery. We declare the accurate value of every parcel and include the paperwork customs may ask for.
We pack every order by hand, with as much care and reinforcement as the piece needs to arrive intact. Each dragonfly is wrapped in soft tissue, cradled in a rigid box, and cushioned with shredded kraft and recycled paper — never styrofoam. Stands ship separately so nothing presses against the wings in transit. For larger or gift orders that need extra protection, let us know and we will upgrade the pack.
Small variations in grain, brush stroke, and balance point are part of every piece. Two dragonflies from the same design will never look identical — that is the mark of a hand, not a flaw.
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, for pieces that arrive damaged — a broken wing, a cracked body, or a beak that will no longer take a balance.
To make a claim, write to us within the 30-day window with a photo of the damaged piece and a photo of the outer box. We will replace the piece or refund you in full. You do not need to send the damaged original back — the return carriage is rarely worth it.
A dragonfly that has drifted slightly out of balance during the journey is not damaged — a one-minute re-tune at home puts it right. We are always happy to help if a piece stops balancing, even outside the 30-day window.
For orders of 30 pieces or more, please write to us for trade pricing, lead times, and packing options. We work with a small number of galleries, museum shops, and specialty stores worldwide.
For anything not covered here — detail on the policies, the specific piece you are considering, a custom size or design, or a ship-by date for a gift — contact the atelier directly. We reply within one business day.
